Meet Andrea Buck
Hi, my name is Andrea, I am coach and founder of Successful Creative.
Through individual one-on-one coaching, or my ongoing month-to-month coaching support program, or my Successful Creative Foundations Program, I help people to maximise their potential so they can live a successful creative life.
I am here to help you start living a creative life on your terms, to have authentic expression in the world with more ease and flow, earning what you know you are worth, doing what you love.
If you are ready for this journey, I can’t wait to travel with you. Together we can start to break down your barriers, build new human skills/ self-skills to bring to the fore all that you already have in you. It is time for you to start living to your potential.
I look forward to spending time with you, one-on-one or in a group.

MY STORY
I am an immigrant to Australia from South Africa and Eswatini.
I was a screen professional for three decades working in Africa, Hollywood and Australia, with experience ranging from chasing lions across the African Savannah for a wildlife feature to negotiating deals in the boardrooms of Hollywood.
I have written and produced my own movies, collaborated on many more, sat on two screen industry boards, judged film festivals, attended annual conferences and markets like AFM, Cannes, AIDC over the years, won awards around the world including multiple IF wins, 7 ACCTA noms for the Jammed, family and comedy awards internationally, and …
Then, I believe from too much stress, from not listening to the signs, from not valuing myself, from lack of self-awareness, self-care, self-belief … I suffered a burst brain aneurism, which --- did NOT kill me. I still had so much to do and give and offer. But mostly, I had not yet become who I was always meant to BE.Perhaps because I am too resilient and stubborn, it took a blow that hard to make me listen.
I listened. I am now different, more me.
It took a lot to pivot, because not just a shift, but first recovery to be functional, was required.
I did a Masters in Screen Art and Business at AFTRS. I worked with my mentors and teachers, David Court and Sue Maslin to deliver business skills to the creative industries. I spent 3 years studying coaching at Australia’s biggest coaching school to fill the gap that I saw between craft skills, business skills – and my Achilles Heel –Self Skills!
With all that, and a kick-arse business coach … here we are.
The focus is no longer me. Now, it is your turn.
Shall we play?
